Kenneth Lange - Team Leader
Graduated Iowa State with a computer engineering degree with a focus in software. High school graduate at the age of 13, manager of a greenhouse age of 15, team lead in Com S 309, SE 319, CPRE 491, CPRE 492. Second place on the ISU site in the Fall of the 2019 ICPC cup. During my time working with the CyDrone project, I was in charge of simulation environments. From setup to maintenance, creating new environments to modifying old environments. I also worked with some internal sensors on the AirSim model and created and maintained the character AI by which the drone followed and was trained on. My last responsibility was as team lead and communication between team members helping people work together as one unit.
Alain Njipwo - Chief Hardware Developer
I am a senior in Computer Engineering at Iowa State University. My area of focus is Very-Large-Scale Integration (VLSI).
I gained a deep interest in semiconductors after learning how to program and wanting to understand how a line of code is represented by an integrated circuit on the hardware level.
On the CyDrone project I focused on the hardware aspects of the project. This includes assembly, calibration, and interfacing with the other hardware components that are required for the drone's functionality.
Daniil Olshanskyi - Chief Software Developer
Born in Kyiv, Ukraine. In high school was interested in programming and spent several years in a coding club at school. Applied to ISU at the end of 2014, started in the Spring 2015 semester. Graduating Spring 2020. Team leader in ComS 309 and SE 339. Second place on ISU site in 2019 Fall ICPC cup. In CyDrone project worked mainly on simulation part, computer-drone communication, and making the drone fly.
Luke Bell - Chief Interface Developer
Born in Indianola, Iowa. Found an interest in engineering through introductory courses in high school. Came into ISU as undecided engineering and chose Computer Engineering after the first semester.
Max Medberry - Chief Backend Developer
I'm a senior in Computer Engineering at Iowa State University. My main area of interest in in software engineering. Languages I have worked in Java, C, C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript. I also have experience in frameworks like .NET Core, Express.js, Node.js, and especially ReactJS. I have done projects in embedded design, desktop applications with internet connectivity, and web apps.
I am also a member of Tau Beta Pi, an engineering honor society, and currently work as a pharmacy technician part-time.
